Prayers for Nick and his family from NC...
Prayer from CT.
We have a local family dealing with the same thing. Same circumstances, too. So so sad.
This young man is in a therapy program in Atlanta and has just started to 'walk' again.

I'm praying he gets well very soon.. I already saw this young kid before when he bought something on a kids party store.

Your first post on this site is to try to advertise for your website on a topic as serious as this one? Disgusting...
Hopefully your post gets whacked...
Yeah, that was weak. I can't believe that post is still up...
Is there a fund set up for Nick to help with all the expenses? Would like to contribute.

Check here. I know they are doing something at his high school football game tonight. If hear of anything else, I will post it here. Thanks!

There are all sorts of things in the works. Lots going on at LBSS already, but there is an effort getting started to get other high schools involved to sell t-shirts and bracelets. Please stay tuned. Someone will post details as soon as they are available, and if you are involved in a high school and can help to get this going, please send me a PM. It will take an enormous amount of support to help the family...expenses would break most of us. But Nick is making great progress, and that's the most important!

For those in the Burke area or willing to take a drive on Sunday morning, the LBSS SGA is sponsoring a car wash for Nick at the Kings Park Exxon (corner of Rolling Rd. and Braddock) tomorrow, September 16, from 10am to 1pm.

just a bump up to the top to keep everyone aware of Nick's situation...
keeping this up top. They are holding a hit-a-thon at Nick's school next week. It would be great to get as many as possible. 100% of the proceeds go directly to medical expenses.
