What are the thoughts of this website on the subject invite showcases? Never heard of them.

Have you been to other showcases? will there be schools there of you interest?
I have not been to Under Armor but thinking they are going to give you the same pro style workout that most of the others do..
Its not good when you pay your $$$ only to be disappointed with a camp / showcase.
There were six drafted players on Bum, Jr's travel team in h.s., including Bum, Jr. None of these players were invited to an Under Armour showcase and there were no other drafted players in town. That should tell you something: "Factory" is an appropriate moniker.
If you want a reputable showcase company there is one clear choice: Perfect Game.
Turns out it was an invite to tryout for their National team. Not that it makes any difference.

Bum.... agreed our 2016 has been pretty happy with the PG tourneys. Just haven't made the showcase circuit yet

Others know more about this then I do, but as I understand it everyone that attends a tryout for them is doing it for their National team.
My son went to one as a sophomore. He went in order to see what was the level of competition in the general area. Also, to get over the jitters of a showcase.
They say the "camp" is to try out for the national team. It is also to sell you on their regional camps and their recruiting service.
As I said, it was worthwhile to get a feel for a camp but don't expect much more.
