Nick Thompson (7 Ks and 0 BB) and Shane Johnsonbaugh combined for a four hit (all singles) shutout. Thompson was 3 for 3, including a 2B, 3B and HR. Shane Johnsonbaugh and Brandon Doggett contributed doubles, and Garrett Brooks, Michael Donovan and Dillon Walker added singles.

Travis Cherry was 3 for 3 for KF.

Nicely played game by Cox. Ritchie simply dominated PA's bats. Well, except for T. Pitt. Did I hear that Kellam went down to Salem?

Maury-6 Granby-3,Coby Cowgil had two homeruns backed by John Garrett's one and John's good pitching,with 7 K's and two walks.Lewis Singleton had a homerun for Granby.Granby after the third was simply out of gas.Last two innings John was in his zone and the batters went down in order.

Kellam 1 Salem 5. Salem played their game today.

As per the norm in baseball ... walks and errors were the key to the IR loss tonight.

Hits never got put together, E's came at the worst time, etc... but credit Hickory for a well played game.

3 way tie for 1st now... IR, GB, H all 6-2.

Cody Cox pitched a great game - 12k's out of 15ab
Jason Ingram (2-2 BB) and Nykolai Ellis (2-3) both hit a HR. Jason Carter (1-3) 2b, Rian Ellis 1-1 2BB, and Jordan Miller 1-1 drove in the 10th run.

Gotta love Zell! I am not exactly sure how many hits were in this game.(not many, and depends on who keeps the book) A few errors and a few walks by both sides.
A great beach season when the number 8 team in the district can beat two of the top teams.
I was told that the Salem pitcher who threw for 6 innings is only a freshman. Kellam did not hit very well and Salem made mistakes that Kellam just could not take advantage of.
The bottom of the 7th went 1,2,3 which left Salem on a huge high. Watch out Grasscutter!!!!!

Watch Out?? Heck, Salem already showed us the door. We get another crack at them today though.

With the aid of a strong wind blowing in, freshman Connor Staskey came within two infield singles of a no-hitter as the SunDevils (3-4, 3-4 Beach) upset Kellam (6-2, 6-2).

Justin Tabora went 3 for 4 with three stolen bases and scored two runs, while teammate Reymon Centeno hit a decisive, two-run double in the sixth inning.

OL 9 Landstown 6-- Ocean Lakes defeated the Eagles at Landstown behind a strong pitching performance by senior Ross Jarzynkza. Jarzynka fanned 12 in 6 innings, and also scored 3 runs. Tyler Clements and Matt Hearne each had two hits and Casey Bryant homered for the Dolphins

Impressive hitting for the Dolphins. Curry had been one of the more effective pitchers in the district to this point. Did he pitch the whole game?

Curry Pitched the first 3 innings and gave up 4 earned runs and 1 unearned run, on the 757 page it said he had the lost but they lost the game 9-6, and he gave a total of 5 runs, but Ocean Lakes was showing good discipline at the plate, yesterday was some big upsets in the beach district, you never know how each game will turn out week to week.

Chris he left the game in the top of the 3rd inning with 2-0 count on Casey Bryant.

Casey greeted the reliever not sure of his name with a line drive over the left field fence.. the ball got out in a hurry.
