PA gave another one away today to Landstown 7 - 4. Good job by the LHS pitcher, Michael Curren? I think heard someone say.
Landstown 7 P.A. 4 was a big win for Landstown, they had let some other close games get away but not today. Michael Curry pitched 6 1/3 innings and did a great job with 11K"s and only 2 earned runs, Cameron Day hit a 2 run homerun in the top of the seventh to give Landstown a 6-4 lead, and win the game.
How did PA give another game away. They never led the Landstown game. The errors them made cost them, but Landstown did the same. Landstown never loss went down and clearly dominated the game, if you were there. If it were not for 1 play PA would not even scored! Please don't write stuff that is not valid. Michael Curry had 11 K's in 6.3 innings. He could of went the rest, but the coach put in another kids and the kid got the job done!

Good Lord, Dr. Hightower. You call it one thing, I call it giving the game away. Will you guys please get a life and not be so touchy about how other people see the way games are played? I think I gave the Curry kid his due (let me just add: he was dominant, OK).

It is easy for you to tell us to get a life when you can listen to your older son while he is pitching a game and getting paid for it!!!
Dr. Hightower has a point. If the standings are correct and PA and Landstown are so close, then perhaps they are evenly matched. The Landstown pitcher did well and the Pa guys did not hit.
I am sure that probably that extensive early morning "discipline" run that Landstown had to perform last week helped them on the field. Coach Hightower can probably agree with that.

Incorrect. Common baseball nomenclature is that 6.1 innings is 6-1/3, 6.2 is 6-2/3...It has nothing to do with the decimal system (and there is no 6.3)

It would be great if you came to ODU to watch a game. I do not think I have seen you at a game since your kid stopped going there for free!

PA won on a Grand slam in the bottom of the 10th..
It was a very good game. PA scored 5 runs in the inning. After OL took the lead.
OL had some very questionable coaching moves that the kids somehow managed to make work.

coach spedden is always making things interesting...he knows his kids well though year in and year out...
