Just wanted to let you guys know we opened big yesterday.

We defeated Osan HS 24-0 (and I did all I could to keep the score down - stopped stealing early, subbed everyone in, etc). No-hitter thrown by Greg. 3-inning two-hour time-limit game. Yikes.

We then defeated the perennial spoilers Daegu HS 15-1 on another no-no, this one from Colton (my JR son). Game opened with back-to-back HR's on the first and third pitches of the game. From there we went on to have a 14-for-29 team day at the plate.

We'll face better teams when we travel to Okinawa and Tokyo, but this was a good start for our guys.

Will post a Stripes.com link once they put the boxscore and write-up in.

Thanks for following us! And the boys were wearing the black pants!!

But did you change to the blue socks when things were getting out of hand? Wink

Nice start, Coach Krak and Colton.

Oh my goodness, what a fun thread!

Bob (Krak), I love the photos of your boys AND their coach! Wink Congrats to the team on a great start to the season.

BTW, is that the whole team? I think you have mentioned in the past that you encourage all the boys to work on pitching at least as needed - looks like that would be an absolute necessity!

Please keep us updated. It's great fun to follow the boys, especially knowing that their families are serving overseas.
