Hello All, My Name is Dan LaMorte. I am a freshman college RHP who, on opening day, tore my UCL. Most people would take this in a negative way but for me it is a second chance to work my butt off, come back stronger, and take better care of my arm. Along the way I realized that, though there is an excess of information on the surgery, there is rare first hand accounts. I have decided to chronicle every day of the recovery process not only for myself but for the players, parents, and coaches who are dealing with those, who will deal with this, or who just want to learn more. I want people to know the truth of the ups and downs opposed to the general view that it is a surgery that pitchers get and come back throwing harder. I want you to know that this will be done with the utmost care and knowledge, I have been reaching out to coaches, trainers, and pros worldwide to pick their brains to put together good programs and information about tommy john surgery. I love this game and eventually plan to hopefully pursue a professional career but for now this will be my contribution to the game. I hope you all enjoy and do not feel shy. I am open to any questions, personal or general. God Bless- Dan LaMorte
