I presume you're a 2011 graduate, correct? Even if so, it is NOT too late to get offers. Quite a few players are made offers in the spring, and in some cases, even in the summer as needs arise at college programs all over the country.

Lots of offers come in the spring and summer. The key is to keep up the efforts to get noticed.

same way you get noticed the rest of the year.

Re camps: Camps at the school a player wants to attend are seldom a ripoff. You will be seen by everyone that matters on that staff. If you expect to go to one camp and be seen by several different schools at that same level, it doesn't often happen. Usually a D1 school will have a camp and several D3s and JCs recruiters will also be there to "Pick up the crumbs". Every once in a while you hear of a camp that has a good turnout by several good programs...attend one of those. Best advice has come from parents that actually attended the camp in the previous year.

As I said, the winter in the NE is very quiet until March/April.
Went to one camp recently at a school of interest, pitched well but, coaches didn't say a word.
Will keep working and move on.

Lefty/righty? Summer team? Velocity? I know there are D1 schools in the NE that made offers to pitchers which were not accepted.

You do need to tell a little more about your son. If you want to PM me I may be able to point you in the right direction. The school my son is at signed several pitchers in the spring last year. Where in NY are you located?

I used to make the same mistake. Click on birdman's name on his last post. In the box clip on the first line that says birdman's public profile. Then when it comes up you'll see a line at the bottom that says "Send Private Message to birdman 14. Click on it and you will go to the PM screen. Type your message and I think it says "post now". Click that.

Northeastern runs an indoor event colleges attend. TPX runs an indoor event in southern NH colleges attend.

I just checked the NE camp but, it says it's geared toward 8-11th graders, my son's a senior.

Problem might be that it is spread over three Sundays. So, traveling three weekends would be involved.

If there are particular schools you are interested in...email Jerry and he can tell you if those schools are planning to be there.

OK, invited to several camps in Dec/Jan, coaches indicated they seen him play over summer/fall. Has anyone received any offers during/after appearing in these camps from D1 schools in the northeast?

Any wood nowadays. Softwood. Hardwood. Alpine fir, Silver maple, Mountain Hemlock, Gum, Lodgepole pine, Magnolia, White fir, Madrone. They're all good. I wouldn't give you a bum steer!
