Do not worry about the little attention received to Marvin thus far, he is very young and this is his big year for him to be recognized. I have had the opp to see him work the middle and he is very very good , as is his cousin Raffy.
If you can add, great Student, coachable , hard working , Team player to your list, he will be in a great spot come next yr. Be patient.

Sounds like he would be a great SS...but we know Clemente is already set there.

Garcia & Sanchez COULD be the best combination up the middle in the State. It is much too early too project what will happen this season -- but that's why we play the games.

The Public League junior class is the best Public League class we have seen in recent years (since '84) ..... when you start checking those travel rosters -- you will start seeing more kids from the city.

I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF GOING TO SCHOLL AND PLAYING WITH MARVIN AND RAFFY..THEYRE BOTH EXCELLENT STUDENTS, AND VERY COACHABLE.MARVIN IS A GREAT STUDENT ATHLETE, FOCUSES MORE ON HIS GRADES THAN MOST WOULD, HE WITHOUT A DOUBT IS THE LEADER OF THIS TEAM..HE DOESNT LET HIS TALENT GET TO HIM, HES MORE WORRIED ABOUT HIS TEAM THAN HIMSELF..CLEMENTE WILL SHOW UP THIS YEAR READY TO PLAY, AND CAPTAIN MARVIN SANCHEZ WILL HELP CARRY THIS TEAM.

Andrew Elke of St. Charles North '06, is a great sescond baseman. One of the fastest players you will see, with a great eye. Look for him to come close on setting the record for the most walks.
