Huskie Power - I love our team bro, but that's probably a little biased, eh? That's ok though.

Beenthere - I would imagine he won't get walked too much this year because OPRF overall has a solid lineup that will knock in a lot of runs. Next year I can definitely see teams pitching around him, but even if they do, he runs a 6.8 60 so he should be able to turn walks into doubles relatively easy. Man I miss high school baseball so much. College ball is not the same.
I love this website and the local flavor offered by these forums. However when reading posts in this forum I'm often left wondering if kids on the Lake Michigan side of the loop formed by I-294 around the city even play baseball. You must all admit that this forum has a very decidedly south and west suburban bent. Maybe they just don't have computers up north to respond.
midwestmom,
i just think that this is the only place that places besides the north actually gets mentioned because once spring comes around all the papers talk about is the north's teams and seem to always forget that the west and south produces the better teams always. sica west by itself should have at least 3 of the top ten teams in the state every year but usually get one team mentioned maybe.
MidWestMom.....

The northern suburbs, i.e., Lake Forest, Highland Park, Winnetka, Northbrook, etc., etc., maybe are more focused on football, baseketball, s****r, lacrosse, swimming, tennis, volleyball, etc. Who knows!!!!

I not counting the Schuamburgs, Crystal Lakes, Batavias, etc., etc. They always seem to contribute to these boards. Maybe the lake-front communities are all partying. party
