I am very confident he won't be behind the dish. I can place a bet if you'd like.

At USC, he most likely play up the middle of the field, whether that be in CF or behind the plate.

With all due respect Smith Baseball, Danny may be one of the top catchers in the state; however, he tops out in the low 80s. He only pitches because that's where Hickory really needs him. It's ironic that everyone seems to be throwing mid to upper 80s these days. In regards to Jordan, I've never seen the kid, but I've heard some good things. Hopefully I'll get to see him throw against some of the top teams this year in the Southeastern District. If not, I'm sure Indian River can manage to find a way back to regionals. Looks like it'll be a tight district race out there. I'm just ready to see some good baseball!
I must be the one misinformed. From what I understand Grauer was clocked throwing around 82-83 consistently last season...I don't think his velocity has decreased as he has gotten stronger over the past year...

I also have been informed that Adair throws 86-87 right now. I would consider that they both will be throwing in the mid to upper 80s this season, yes.

One "competition" after the other on these boards 80% of the time over simple informational minutiae... just post your own information and try to leave out the little snarky comments.
