I would have to put Mike Martin Jr. and the rest of the FSU staff pretty high on the list. The Giants sure appreciated them this year. Smile Seriously, with Chip Baker as the Director of Baseball Operations and MM Jr., they have two good former catchers around to develop players. They run excellent camps and the catchers get a lot of instruction there.
Agree with backstop.....have gone to FSU camps for last four years and Mike Martin Jr. Is the best in the business. Really does a great job of connecting with the players. Really has a good eye which allows him to tweak mechanical flaws in the kids.
Just finished the winter camp today and my son seems to take away more and more every year.
