Thank you! I'll try to keep representing the 603! My coach told me that if he was safe at third, I was coming in to close the game out. I kinda wished he was called safe so I could have gotten the save, oh well. Tell Ryan good luck at Quinnipiac, I'm playing summer ball with two infielders and our captain's little brother is a player for them too. Solid team.
BCBall32,
I have been meaning to get bact to you but have been very busy. You said that you were playing summer ball with a couple of the guys from Q. I was wondering if it was up our way so we could get a chance to see you guys play. Sanford and Concord are only a half hour away from us. Ryan has a big start on Monday againts Londenderry. It will probably be Symenski throwing for them. Can't wait!
Keep up the great work there!
Awesome pitchers dual at Holman Stadium yesterday.

BG vs Alvirne.

Jim Woods threw a 3 hitter to win 2-0. Derek Anderson threw a 2-hitter for the loss. He threw 1 bad pitch. Only FB he threw all day under 80mph was a 78mph late in game that was belt high and no movement. BG player jumped on it for a 2 run double.

First chance I had to watch Woods. Fast ball was slower then I had heard. Ran 75-79, only 4 pitches over 80MPH. But what a curveball. Would start to break over top the BG dugout and just kiss the outside corner. Lots of 3rd strikes lookers.

It was great to se the kids playing in Holman. Haven't seen a game there since my oldest played there in 2001.

Playoffs will be interesting.

While I know that MPH is certainly not the whole deal was wondering who else in NH is crusing over 80 continually. Derek runs 80-84 for 6 innings, will top out at 85. Who eles is throwing gas???
BBallNH, if you want to check out the roster or schedule it's www.pittsfielddukes.com. Dan Duquette is the GM. We're oing to play at Concord and Sanford but i'm not sure what dates, haven't even looked at the schedule yet. To comment, there's a junior at Salem, Tom Sweeney, that throws mid 80's, hit 88 earlier this year i guess... threw a no-hitter earlier this year against Exeter. Swings a mean stick from what he tells me too. (Swings as hard as he can EVERY pitch, hits 1 out of 5)

Good luck against Londonderry, tell Ryan to take his curve to right-center...

BCBall32,

Thanks for the info, we will check it out for sure. Best of luck to you and the boys at BC in the playoffs.
We did get a chance to see Sweeney in Two innings of "stop the bleeding" relief and he did throw hard.
As far as tonight goes, Ryan may not even play, He came down with something this weekend and it really knocked him out. We'll see?

See Ya!
Class L

i was just wondering where you folks think nashua south will rank ? I was wondering what you folks think the top 5 will be

1)Salem
2)
3)
4)
5)

I here everyone saying Salem. What is it that makes them so tough

Can we get a check-in on what kids from Class L are playing Division 1. These are the kids i know of regardless of class....

Thanks for any feedback anyone has

Zapenas- Boston College
Ferriter- UCONN
Bazdanes- Maine
Hart- UVM
Higgins- Boston College

Thanks,

Charlie Bazdanes
With all due respect, Charlie, we already have a thread going about Class L in NH. Regardless, TR asking about kids who've committed to schools other than DI's is not hijacking anything. He's only opening up a discussion that you started by listing the same guys you've previously discussed.

Coach Weav - My congrats to Kevin. FPU is a great program.

Hey man, just replying to your post. I(higgins) dont play in class L. I play in the ISL for St. Pauls a NH school. We play against teams like Belmont Hill, Roxbury Latin and other schools in Mass. Just thought I would throw that in there,

How is Belmont Hill this year? We played them last year
I think Bell Hill lost 5 Division one players last year, and rox latin lost McGeary who signed for 1.9 Mil. The two favorites of the league should be Thayer who lost no one and us(st pauls) who lost one player and the rest of the team are seniors. The league lost ALOT of d1 players last year so it should be interesting to see who is at the top
