My kid brother is now 11 months removed from Tommy John surgery with Dr. Andrews. He's a 17-year-old lefty CF/P who was recently ranked the #1 Class of 2011 prospect in NY by BlueChipProspects(.com). In their scouting report, they describe him as a "Legitimate 5-tool player who runs extremely well with an 88-90mph fastball"
In his first week of summer league ball, he hit 3 home runs with a wood bat, including 1 inside-the-park, 1 solo shot (340ft+) and 1 grand slam. He was also clocked throwing 90mph fastballs at his first showcase at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.
