Certainly at the 16U/17U level, I would put the Richmond Braves from VA on that list.

In Connecticut there are only two reputible teams.

I do not believe that there are any teams in Rhode Island that travel to those mentioned tournaments all though the South Shore Baseball Club does draw from some of Rhode Island.

New Hampshire, no clubs exist that travel to those mentioned tournaments

Maine No Clubs exist that travel to those mentioned tournaments

Vermont no clubs exist that travel to those mentioned tournaments

I believe I saw Ny and Nj already responded with postiongs

The South Troy Dodgers will add a little more muscle this summer with the addition of;

All former World Yacht Clippers. For 2006 the Clippers will have a 17U, 15/16U, 14U and 12U teams.

I hate to say it, but the Hackers turned into "has beens" since the Sliders split off from the Hack Shack. They grow weaker by the year.

any idea who else the South Troy dodgers have playing for them at catcher this summer. i use to play for them a couple years ago than i got injured and im out of the loop for now

Texan- Good point on Hackers... but that is true about the whole San Antonio area... against the best in this state, SA teams are at the bottom... Houston/DFW areas are the cream of the crop... year in and year out...

San Antonio may not be the powerhouse that Houston and DFW are, but it has a way smaller population. Commitments this year and last include: MLB prospect Kendal Volz (Baylor); Clay Fuller (Baylor); Russell Moldenhauer (UT); Brad Suttle (UT); James Keithley (UTSA); Anthony Vasquez (A&M); Joe Pawelek (Baylor); and dozens of others to lower level D1's, D2's, and JUCO's. Boerne H.S. won the 2004 4A state championship and Smithson Valley H.S. went to the 5A state semifinals last year. Reagan H.S., which has been in existence only 5 or 6 years, has gone to regionals several times. Last summer, the South Texas Sliders' 17U team was the Premier World Series runner-up and the Sliders' 15U select team won their Premier World Series.

I believe Joe Mercurio from JFK will be the catcher for the South Troy Dodgers this season. He's a hell of a player. Headed to Illinois next year.

Are there any teams in East Cobb that might need a catcher?

Infield08... Sliders are def. good... Mayer runs a good program... 16U will be down there in a couple of weeks... they are looking forward to the outstanding teams in the event...
