Best one was presented by Anheiser Busch, honoring our troops. I saw that many times this past summer at Atlanta airport, I was moved. Other than that, can't remember the others they were SO bad or stupid.

TPM- argee also- gave me the chills. And McCartney must be in his 60's and is still going strong. Even my kiddos enjoy his music!

You are both right. There first spot made it on the air, but they also were scheduled to run a spot during the 2 minute warning. The NFL pulled that one. I also use them for domain names.

I was amused by the Ameriquest 'robbery' ad as well...maybe because I've had the same impulse to beat 'public talkers' with a baseball bat....
It wasn't so long ago that carrying on clearly audible conversations with someone unseen had a somewhat different meaning. Now you just need to clip on a phone and the line between 'busy'* and crazy is forever blurred....

I actually saw an interview with Paul McCartney, in which he found it comical that he was doing the halftime show because the NFL wanted it to be more family orientated....anyone old enough to remember when our parents thought the Beatles were a bad influence on us

I watched the superbowl to see the commercials and the half time show. (Pro football is just a minor interest to me). Usually the commercials are better than the game although this time it was a pretty decent game. I thought a couple of the commercials were pretty good but, all in all, I felt it was a down year. Halftime was great, IMHO.
The monkeys, second commercial was good.
One of the funniest inventions in history has to be the Whoopee Cushion! There's just something about it, that makes me crack up everytime I hear one go off.

The McCartney halftime show brought back many memories for my wife and I
She recalled how at age 9 she saw them at Boston Garden
For me it was recalling the impetus they gave me as I got into the Rock and Roll world
But talk about a clean cut image for the NFL-- no "costume Malfunctions' here-- very safe ground and for a "Senior Citizen" Sir Paul did all right--my kinda guy-- he was the best"commercial" the NFL could have for "clean cut" and his back up band had to be one of the best and tightest I have heard in many a moon.
