Who can tell us the level of competition faced here?
I will tell you that last year the district with Midland Lubbock and San angelo Schools all advanced and made it as far as Regional Finals and that was 4th place team.El Paso Franklin was upset first round by Central and has Ricky Jaquez back! They are a team to watch. The kid is legit mid 90's and possible first rounder..Anyways it looks like to me that HP must be very good to go there undefeated and Round Rock previous week 5-1. Haven't seen 'em , but i'd say watch out.
It is a good tournament IMO. I took my Marcus team out there in 2009 and it really helped us deal with traveling in the playoffs. The competition is good. Humbabe, that is a great job shutting down those folks. Looks like the Scots will be a force to be reckoned with in Region II!!!
