I have learned that Towny's cancer has moved to his lungs. I am not sure of the prognosis but thought I would pass this info along.

Coach Townsend - all my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
It is true my cancer has returned and is in both lungs...Cathy and I just found out yesterday and we told Sean and Chase last night so things are still up in the air as to prognosis but I see Dr. Sinesi at Sidney Oman cancer treatment center tomorrow and then oncologist on the 23rd....My guess is chemo and radiation but I'll know more later. Redbird5 did you ever think that when you were a young boy and I was hitting groundballs to you in the back fields of Great Bridge that someday This old coach would be thanking you for praying for him? Reminds me of that old John Lennon song quote, " Life is what happens when your making other plans." ClevelandDad I'm getting my game face on today thanks for your prayers...I'll get after this thing again I promise.
Towny, you have more people praying for you than you'll ever know. No need for thanks, just get better and back on the fields.
