Now that HS ball has ended, it is time for my son to prepare for fall. We went down to a game a few weeks ago, and my son that looks like a man on the HS field looked like a 12 year old boy standing next to his future college teammates. He has a trainer that already has him on a program but he asked him to get his school's program so they can add that in as well. My son is going to put a call in to them tomorrow, but I was just curious. Do schools typically send their players home with a specific training program for the summer?

Same for my son. My son simply asked what PC wanted him to do to be ready for fall.. They gave him a day by day training planning for pitching games during summer. They, also, had specifics for pitching for his summer team before college. How many innings a week basically and how many innings total since they knew how many he pitched for his HS team. Thankfully they had a good working relationship with the summer teams HC who always protects his pitchers, so it was easy communication

Thanks guys. The pitching coach said he was about to send it. He was just waiting for the  High school season to end. He will also be playing in a college summer league. They didn't mention limits on pitching but they are the ones that placed him so I assume maybe they worked it out with the coach? I will have him ask anyway. Thanks again for your help.
