Transfer elgibility question?

If he is playing JV he does not have to wait. If he moves into the attendance zone he has to wait 15 days to play varsity. If he transfers (still lives outside the attendance zone) he must wait a year to participate in varsity athletics.

Districts could have their own transfer rule.

Lewisville ISD has a transfer rule that would not allow your son, in this case, to play varsity baseball for 1 calender year. Our district has this policy to keep this very thing from happening. I am familiar with the reasons why my district has this in place as this issue has been dragged thru the mud on this very message board.

I would check with your school district's athletic director to make sure.
