Transfer (JC to higher level)

This definitely can not be done at a D1, since midyear transfers are not eligible.

It may be possible in other divisions, but I'm not sure. In D2, Bylaw 14.5.4.5.4 allows transferring from a JC back to the "original" D2 school. That might allow multiple transfers to a single D2.

However, as a practical matter, keeping up with the requirements of academic progress would be very difficult. Normally JCs don't offer courses that correspond to degree-level courses at a 4 year school for students in the 3rd year or higher in college.

Would a coach at a 4 year school be happy with this approach, even if it turns out to be within the rules?

Thanks for the explanation. As of now I am just trying to keep all options open because my red shirt status is still unknown. This idea was just for a possible school, but obviously not ideal for others. Thanks for the help!
