How many players can a D1 school have on the travel team?
Can the travel team change from week to week depending on injuries, player performance, etc.?

The NCAA does not mandate a specific number of players on a DI travel roster. (at least not to my knowledge)
Most travel roster restrictions apply to conference series, not non-conference.
Many if not all conferences however do have a travel roster restriction. 25 players is the most common number.
And yes the list (names) of players can change from weekend to weekend.
