Well this week I am in Virginia, traveling around watching VBL games. I have seen Games in Covington, 1 inning in Winchester and also Harrisonburg. I can understand why so many love this state. There is some beautiful country. I have been up and down 64/81 twice now.

We will be in Front Royal tonight.

Welcome to Virginia!

The Valley Baseball League is really super with many of the teams playing in small towns.

I always really enjoyed attending Friday night games - cooler temps in the evenings - communities that would come out to support their team - wood bats - wood bats - wood bats - excellent collegiate talent...

AMERICAN All the way.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your visit...

I hope that you had an enjoyable time in Front Royal tonight BLD.  I am about 40 miles east of there and really love to call Virginia home.  I have left the state so many times, living as far away as the west coast, but always return.  There is a draw to the state that I just can't put my finger on.  Hope your time was well spent and that you have great lasting memories of your journey to good 'ole Virginny.

Well this is my last night here. I met Hokieone out at the field, and had a nice chat. I can say every one I have met has been very friendly. I could not have met a Nicer group of people, from the concession workers to my son's host family.

I enjoyed all the baseball I was able to watch. Their is some very good talent in this league and my son was blessed to have this opportunity.
