At X Level Sports
Who: Little League 13’s from 2008 season
What: 4 hours a week of baseball instruction and 8 USSSA weekend tournaments from Aug 4-Dec 7 in the Bay Area against other Travel Baseball Programs.
Where: X Level Sports facility on Treasure Island and also on Treasure Island Field 3 in which we’ll combine individual work and team based practices. The X level Sports facility features 4 Iron Mike pitching machines, one full length tunnel for bullpens as well as a jugs pitching machine. The 14U Pirates will have full access to the cages during the individual skills practice each week and by being a member of the Pirates will automatically become a member of X Level sports which offers discounts on tokens and other great offers from X Level Sports.
When: Formal practice will begin the week of Aug 4th, but we will be holding free workouts starting in July for anyone that is interested. We are going to limit the roster to 15 players so if you are interested you can email us at treasureislandpirates@gmail.com
Why: Help baseball players in Bay Area who are looking for more out of their baseball experience. The Treasure Island Pirates 14U team will offer top-flight instruction and also offer your son a chance to play with other dedicated players in the Bay Area as well as competing against some of the best players in all of Northern California.
The cost of the fall session, which does not include tournament play or uniform, is $500. (Hat and personalized jersey with name on back should cost around $60) Over the course of the Fall Session we offer 36 practices which will total 72 hours which breaks down to $6.94 an hour for practices that will be formatted like that of a College Baseball team. Attached is a copy of our schedule for the fall of 08 with practice times through 2008 along with information on the 8 tournaments we will be playing.
