I am going to be attempting to walk on at a D1 school this fall. I could have played at a D3/2 but I loved the school I'm going to since I was young. Any tips for the tryout since its only going to be 1 day (I think)? I have contacted the coaches and my school and summer coaches have as well. I hit .488 this summer on my Connie Mack team which was 2 time returning State Champions.

Thanks

I hate to use this phrase but "been there and done that." You have a very big hill to climb. However, it can be done. I didn't have any athletic abilities at all. However, I am tenacious. In the tryout you don't have room for mistakes and it isn't for making friends. You will get a sense for what the coaches are looking for right away. Be that player! I wish you success!
