Hey i am a 5'3" 95 lb fresman. i am trying out for my highschool baseball team in February. We stared team conditioning in September and i dont really want to do all of the conditioning to find out that i didnt make the team. Does anyone have ANY advice at all? Whether its about lifting, nutrition, or simple drills that i can do at my house, I appreciate any advice thank you.

What you need to work on really depends on how good you are already; and what team your trying out for. As a freshman, I played and started on Varsity, but most kids don't do that. If your trying out for JV, i'd really just be looking to do my best-come prepared. Act like you've been there before. If your trying for Varsity, you need to step up. It's too late for drills now since the season is already here, but if you havn't had tryouts yet, i'd just go get cuts and take ground balls.

Do your best, you only have one time to show your skills.

There aren't any short cuts to success.
