Becoming a tradition, and since Keller has an early game, will have to stay busy at work

But the biggest game of the week is the "Lil Texans" in thier first game tonight. The 6 year old girls face off at 6PM in their coach pitch/T-Ball softball game. My daughter has been to probably 600 baseball games in her short life, but when asked by the coach to go to Shortstop, she ran out to the middle of the infield and proclamed "Where's Shortstop???"

I'll be in the stands operating the video camera and making sure the fans don't yell at the umpires too much

You're 6 year old and my 8 year old should get together and talk. I bet they'd have a choice word or two about their older siblings and all the games they've been drug to! Mine has been to at least 200 BB/SB games a year since he was born. Now he's playing and it amazes me how much he learned just by watching them. His instincts are amazing for an 8 year old.

I'll be happy to inform the websters that the Lil' Texans beat the Bumble Bee's 10-8 in a game that you aren't supposed to be keeping score.

And I was informed by a guy that reads this website that doesn't post, that Reagan has been to way over 600 ballgames in her life. I was proud of her in the second inning when the girl the coach told to go to Shortstop looked confused, Reagan volunteered to show her where it was.

2-2 with a run scored. Gotta love that 1.000 average!!!

Took 9 innings, but we pulled out an important district win. Travis Moseley pitched 7 strong innings. Back even at 2-2 in district. Way to go Jackets, there's no giving up. Chad Noble had a great game at the plate and drove in the go-ahead run with a two out double in the 9 inning.

FD: Congrats on the nice win, based on what I read sounds like a game that a coach might have needed a whole bunch of rolaids.....

Arlington Seguin 14 Eastern Hills 1 in 5 innings, Cougars pound out 11 hits including 4 by KSimms with 4 rbi's, 3 hits by JElston, 2 hits by SHensley including the big fly and 4 rbi's also.

Miles Hamblin was fun to watch last night.He had a few stalkers guns aimed his way that read 91-94 though 5 innings. I don't recall him throwing a breaking ball to the 3rd inning which was a pleasant surprise as you see to many coaches these days trying to out think their opponents batters.

in district 28-5a
we have had some major upsets this week

victoria upsets moody 3-2
and carroll upsets ray 5-2

makes for an interesting beginning

king 2-0

nobody predicted this to happen early in the season

but we have a long way to go and im sure the texans will get things figured out and you know moody will be there in the end
