I am SO jealous! It's snowing here.
Sounds like fun.

I spent my first 30 years in Northern Ohio I miss
the tribe,wings & Friday fish frys,but not the
weather.

We WISH we were playing Thanksgiving or that we were getting snow, either way could mean no inlaws for the holiday.

I know son wishes every day that we were still playing, yes they need breaks, but you can't make a young heart believe that.

This will be the first time in years that we will not be playing. Had been taking yearly trips to Palm Springs. We have shut our oldest down ( I think he is having a breakdown already ) but his younger brother is playing in a tournament this coming weekend and the weekend after the Thanksgiving one. ECTBDAD-which team does your son play for and what age? We may have crossed paths.

I have a league age 12 (8 days from being league age 11) that plays for Hard 90 and a 14 that plays for NorCal. I am sure we've been to the same tourney's somewhere.

Yes, it does. It is so fun to watch the younger boys on those fields, especially when it is the first time for some of them. I remember when my oldest played his first travel ball tourney in Redding. It was such a special thing. Couldn't win our way out of a paper bag but the memories of that tournament will carry a long time.
