I'll admit, as a father of a pitcher I'm not a big fan of the homerun.

But today I watched the Northwoods League All-Star Home Run Derby. Over three rounds, Shaun Cooper of Mankato and Kyle Peterson of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters combined for a mind-boggling 70 home runs.

No steroids. No juiced baseballs. Incredible.

Hats off to them. It'll be fun watching these two boys in the coming years.

When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained. --Mark Twain
