First, what happens in a situation where a "bounced" pitch is hit?

Second, if a runner is obstructed from returning to base, either on a pickoff or a regular play, does he get awarded the bag he was returning to or the next bag?

1. The ball is live. Yogi Berra and Manny Sanguillen made a career out of doing this.

2. If a play is being made on the runner, he gets the next base in all codes.
