As a parent that lives in a rural area and has hauled three boys several hours just to play baseball, my best advice would be to try to find a team close to your home. If you are in the Dallas area, there are multiple teams that had tryout info on this forum earlier in the year. If you are near Houston you can check out the Houston 5A Baseball website for a list of teams.
Other than that, I have no idea. One thing you should be aware of is that most of these teams started having tryouts last summer. It is likely many tournament teams already have full rosters. However, given the number of teams in the larger metropolitan areas, you should be able to find something.
