My son just got a very nice email from Coach Harring at UML. Even though the message wasn't positive it was still nice of him to write. He wrote "...unfortunately I will not be in the market for a catcher in the fall of 2007, we will have 2 juniors and a sophomore catcher at that time, good luck in your college search." Now, it begs the question, do most coaches know what their team is going to look like a year and a half in advance? It was nice he was up front but I think he closed the door too early.
Canes;
Both schools from my observation are very serious about their BB program. WNE has a beautiful new field which makes a statement to their commitment. Endicott, besides maybe the nicest campus in NE, is loaded. Either school is a good choice for BB. More important, they are good schools academically and have a good coaching staff. The WNE associate head coach is a head coach in the NECBL.
Good stuff, go see both of them.
Hopefully TR will see your post and give you some info. He knows alot more about NE colleges than me.

See my post above and definitely check out Saint Michael's in Vermont. I had an amazing experience there and we actually played all of these institutions at some point or another during my 4 yrs there. We are opening this year (March 22) against the heavily loaded UMASS Lowell in Lowell...we are pretty short on pitching but look to be a real player in the coming years...I'd be happy to contact Coach Cole personally for you if you have any questions/concerns or would like to meet w/ him...I had an amazing experience at SMC.
