The Maryland Baseball Academy is recruiting players for its elite tournament teams in the U16 and U18 age divisions. The teams will play in select local/regional tournaments that are highly competitive and attract potential interest from college coaches. If you are looking for a great baseball experience that can take your game to the next level, then our team program is for you!

U16

U18

*Denotes game in the Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League (NVTBL)


The U16 and U18 teams will be looking to practice one time per week at a Montgomery County field.

Cost: U16 and U18 - $1200

Tryouts: Saturday, March 17 at Montgomery College – Germantown Baseball Field

U16: 9am-11am
U18: 11am-1pm
If you are unable to attend the scheduled tryout dates, we can arrange individual sessions.


Eligibility Requirements

U16 Team: Player must be born on or after May 1, 1990
U18 Team: Player must be born on or after May 1, 1988

Coach Frazier:

I think luvthisgame was asking whether you would accept players outside the MD/VA/DC region, much like other elite summer and fall showcase teams do.

I think the answer is yes, but I don't want to speak for the academy.

Would you accept a player from PA or DE? I realize you're not providing housing, however, sometimes these players can make a practice here and there and then show up for the tourneys, especially if they're top-caliber kids.
