Carl was hot early in the season and it seemed to me that he was a little more tepid towards the middle/end. But I think he showed everybody what he could do yesterday.
Got a little 'scared' yesterday when they lost the 6 run lead but to their advantage, the Huskers' pitchers had trouble finding the plate and walked in 3 runs in one inning.
Great showing for the most part for the 4 BWC teams in their regionals yesterday ... 3 won (UCI fwomped Wake Forest 13-0) but unfortunately Long Beach lost and has to work out of the "losers'" bracket if they want to advance. Tough.

tepid = luke warm
AJ seems to be doing well, but sure doesn't seem to get the call as often as some other pitchers. He just keeps plugging along, tho, and is probably handling this than we are.
