A top-notch program in the BEST baseball conference in the country, the SEC.

Can't go wrong with any of the SEC schools because you'll be scouted at every game and if you've got some skills, are likely to get a shot at playing pro ball after your junior or senior year.

I think that Georgia (HOPE?) program where local kids get benefits for academic efforts permits the coaching staff to look at quite a few kids before they make their final cuts.
UGA has a great program. Coach Perno is a class act, as are the Assistants.

The competition to make the team and for playing time is very tough. There are a lot of players who want to play there. If they are approaching you, I would encourage you to consider this a great opportunity. If you haven't had much contact with them, I would encourage you to contact them and see if there is an opportunity for you to play there. They will be very straight forward with you if they have seen you play.

Good luck!
