Well, to put it bluntly, she was probably a booty call for the roommate and he was finished so they asked her to leave. She got mad, and things got heated from there.

As a LEO here are my issues:
1) several days to investigate???? Should have filed a capias request(paper arrest, not a physical arrest)and let the State Att work it out.
2) Weapon on school grounds...laughable,, should have been Agg Assault w/deadly weapon, if anything

He looks innocent to me by the booking photos.

No, didn't say that at all.
However, his size shouldn't have anything to do with this either. If someone asks you to leave, you should leave.....
I do not agree with his reactions nor do I agree with her actions. I think both parties made mistakes and should be held accoountable.
Kyle is a good kid. Hopefully, the charges will be dropped and everyone can move on. Just another example of "nothing good ever happens after midnight".
I agree that kids make bad decisions sometimes, especially after midnight. My son has made his share. They both used poor judgment here. I too hope they can both move on without this ruining either one's future.
I'll bet he would be in more trouble if he grabbed her and shoved her out of the room.
