UIL rec/travel rule

I thought I had read somewhere and was also told at some point a few years ago that UIL prohibits an athlete from playing on a rec/travel team if he is playing for his HS baseball team. Anyone know where I can find that rule or if it exists? And if it does exist, is it for all teams or just Varsity? I browsed through a bunch of UIL stuff but couldn’t locate it.

During the spring season the Texas UIL rules prevent HS Varsity baseball players from playing on a travel ball team until the season is completed at their HS. At least that’s the way it has been for years. Unless something has changed in the past 5 years it’s still that way.
