Anybody have any inside information on the ongoing dispute between the metroplex umpire associations and the UIL? Are they any closer to a settlement?

The Alliance Chapter is calling our games at Marcus this year as usual. I know they are calling all the Lewisville ISD schools as well. I assume they are doing everyone else's that they have always done.
Our meeting with them is Wednesday night, I'll more information after that.

Yeah...Ive heard much of the story already.
But, an umpire that works here at school with me is singing a different tune.

Yes, it is a long story. A lot of my friends across the state, who are very experienced officials, will not be calling HS ball this spring. They are either doing college only, some youth ball, or not calling at all. They are tired of the ####.
