Paul Robertson (LC Bird) ran for 426 yards last night against Oakton in the AAA Div 6 football semifinals. Bird won 41-17 on a somewhat chilly night @ Oakton.

My middle son and I travelled 2 hours to see the game, and I think there were more Bird fans than Oakton fans. I asked my middle son if Robertson (transfer) plays baseball. He said he didn't know, but he was going to find out.
I rarely get excited at any high school game, but this performance was extraordinary. Robertson is not small, and he is elusive and fast. I'm looking forward the state final next weekend at Scott Stadium (UVA) vs Ocean Lakes. Both Bird and Ocean Lakes are undefeated. Somthings gotta give.
