Does anyone on here have any first hand experience with UNC-A? the coaches? the program? the conference? I know it is a small/medium D1 and my son has had interest in the form of emails and letters from them and they have watched him play a few times. He likes the location and the campus (he has been there once). He currently plans on attending a catcher/pitcher camp they're holding in December but I really don't know a whole lot about it other than it has a fine academic reputation and that Asheville is a great place to visit.

Michael's Dad welcome to the hsbbweb! I believe 02^04Mom has a son who attends so you might want to send her a PM. They got hot right at the right time last year, won the conference tournament, and made the NCAA regionals. Could be a program on the rise and one that has turned the corner. Below is a thread that gives some information on the school and baseball program.
