My son, Robert, has asked me to announce the fact that he and two other assistant coaches from the University of North Carolina are holding two, one-day camps in Charlotte, NC on Saturday and Sunday, 12/3 and 12/4. The two other UNC coaches are Associate Head Coach/Pitching Coach, Scott Forbes, and UNC Recruiting Coordinator/Hitting Coach, Scott Jackson.
The first day's camp is intended for middle school-aged players, while the second day is geared toward high school players.
The three UNC coaches will be assisted by a minor league manager, the UNC Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, a former UNC pitcher, a number of other Division I assistant coaches, and coaches from the host high school: Charlotte Country Day School. At this point, coaches from UNC-Wilmington, the College of Charleston, and East Carolina University are committed to assist in the instruction.
