My son plays ball there and is a freshman. Nice campus and is very picturesque. The central campus reminds me an awful lot of UNC-CH. Excellent educational opportunities and based on the student to teacher ratio, they are trying to make sure that the athletes succeed (as well as the genral school population). The male/female ratio is about 7 to 1 and can be quite the nice diversion for the male student. The ball fields are excellent and they have the plans for a new field house (dressing rooms, hitting facility/ coaches offices)in the planning/approval stages. We were very happy with the level of competition played between SoCon schools and ACC schools and they are very diligent in getting you into summer leagues for development. If I can help anymore just ask.

If that is not the actual number, then it is close.

I don't know much about the program, but I've not heard anything negative about it either. There are 18 D1 schools in North Carolina, I think 17 in Virginia. There is a lot of competition for baseball players throughout the region.
