Jon Rivera, OPRF. Signed with UIC. Has a nasty slider.

dan miller joliet catholic 6'3 170 throws around 82 to 84 when he turns it up he can hit 86 at times throws all his pitches for strikes and great build

Saw that game Williams pitched, it was a dandy, but Brain is about 6ft2 and like 150. Lyden has a lefty pitcher with a nasty slider.First name Miles last name? I believe he was the best pitcher on the Norwood blues team in the fall. And GBW> has a lefty named Mike Burke junior who i saw pitch a gutsy game against Top Tier in a fall Iowa tournament.

Miles Kurgan is the kid from Leyden, SR, Lefty, from what I hear he is throwing around 87.

Not sure about the interest. I know he played with Norwood and played in the Junior Showcase at Stevenson. I think that is where he was touching 85-87. Anyone associated with Norwood know anything about Miles?

still, 85 for Junior (at the time) LHP is pretty good. once he gets to the next level, they can add 3-4 so he will be in the 90 range. sosa...you saw him at the showcase...is he a "pitcher" or "thrower"? if he is a pitcher and throws 85 going into senior year, is he potential draft material?

he is a pitcher, threw 3 strong innings if i remember right. I believe he also pitched at an all-star game i saw at nc college in naperville, still good but not as good as nw showcase.

A kid that is capable of coming out of nowhere is Joe Froelich of OPRF.He has great command. Lots of interest in this fine young man that just grew to over 6' with hands that are huge. Threw 83 at perfect game last week in Florida.

I ran into "little" Joe Froelich last week. Unbelievable!! The kid looks huge. Good for him because he is a really nice kid. Another big lefty from OPRF.

Jon Rivera Out of OPRF is underrated, the kid has got a sick slider and is a great teammate.

I think with his D1 scholarship he qualifies as rated. And he is deserving. Great teammate,great competitor.

Like 2 correct the spelling of one of the 3 underrated pitchers mentioned on the dec post. It should read Brian Schlitter 04 from Maine South. He is currently being courted by Lake City JC. out of Florida. Also is considering UIC FLAMES. He'll be playing 4 the Illinios Express this summer. He's 6'-5", RHP and still growing, He has been clocked at 91-92. Keep an eye on this gem.

Good call southpaw... Brian Schlitter is a Very good pitcher. He is a good kid to.

Hey Jerny; How've ya been ? Just catchin up on some gossip n things on this site.Can't wait 4 baseball 2 get outside. Looks like its gearin up to be a great year. Is Matt workin out yet ? I know Brian's excited. He's been 2 a couple of showcases so far. The Express sounds like a really solid team this year. This summer's gonna be interesting.

Sup SOUTHPAW... Ya, I can't wait either. Matt was slowed down by the extended Football season but it was well worth it. He's back on track now. I'd like to see him hit 90 this spring. Did NIU ever Talk to Brian?
