I'll try to add a couple of things but most of it was covered on your May 14th thread. My daughter went there for softball and graduated May 2007. She loved it. As someone else said, the academics are top-notch with admission standards only behind UVA and WM.
Although my son had no interest in going there, I followed the BB program as I am a coach in Virginia's Northern Region. I remember quite a few freshmen showing up every year. One year someone told me there were 50. I don't know if they were recruited or not. Also as previously noted, the facility is very nice.
The school is small and will stay that way. It has a small private college feel to it but nice state tuition. Not for you I guess. The campus and usually the surrounding area is safe. Here recently though, 3 major crimes have occured. A Fredericksburg police officer was murdered. A fast food delivery man was robbed, kidnapped and murdered. A female student was almost assaulted at the athletic complex. Some dope threatened her with a gun. She fought back, he dropped the gun and ran. Good for her. I teach and coach high school and EM DUBYA is at the top of my list of schools that I recommend to my students.
