My son and I just returned from the University of San Francisco after attending their weekend showcase.
What a great event and what great coaches!
Coach Giarratano and his coaches along with Camp Director Coach Zahn were fantastic to the kids, teaching and giving each and every player excellent opportunites to show what they can do.
They also had a very informative Q & A session where the answered all questions and throughly explained the recruitment process.
They were fair, honest and geniune but unfortunately most of the kids there they will never be offered a scholarship, due to limited scholarships and their academic selectivity.
But the were encouraging and realistic - something that's needed in helping a player accurately assess his future in baseballand where he will fit in.
My son may never play at USF, but he still received the time and respect from a great group of men, and I thank them for all that they do.
Anybody else who attended have any thoughts?
