My son has called the UDel coaches about a dozen times and left messages, emailed them, sent his video, his travel and high school coaches also called, my son visited the school(went to look for the coaches but they weren't there), applied and hopes to be accepted.  BUT...he would really like to play for them.  He's a senior, LHP.  What more should he do?

Unfortunately, there probably isn't much else he can do at this point. UD should have most of their 2015 recruiting finished up by now, except for last minute adjustments for the unexpected, and they aren't likely to travel to your son's high school. If your son decides to attend UD anyway, he might be able to get in front of the coaching staff this summer at their camp, or at a tournament (Diamond Nation?). He would really have to blow them away at that point to have much of a chance of making the team, but it would be better than walking on cold in the fall (very bad odds of making the team that way).

UD does have a competitive club team, if that would interest your son.

My son had a similar experience with a D1 in Ohio. Good academic school and he was interested because they were D1 and fit his school profile. My son did much the same your son has done.

They responded to his HS coach that they would need to see him (not like to seem hime), and to attend their upcoming camp, Only problem is that they had no information about upcoming camps online and the coaches would not respond when my son requested info about the camps.

My son figured they were not interested and he never heard another peep. If they have not responded or shown interest they are probably not interested. The only other option would be attend one of their camps.

It looked like these are training camps as opposed to prospect camps. And none are currently on the schedule that I see for Winter. There is contact info though for the camps:

Does he have other schools he is interested in or is it Udel or bust?

Thanks for your reply, MidAtlanticDad and BishopLeftiesDad.  We have assumed they already have their roster filled but he reached out to them last spring to inquire about camps and prospect days etc.  Their website did not have updated info.  They never responded. No one had info about the camps/prospect days.  They kept telling my son to call back.   Oh well. Disappointed.
