FYI, a U Del coach told my son they do not recruit at the WWBA, by the way. That may mean they really like to see kids on their campus.
They did attend the George Mason baseball camp, along with most of the CAA, and we got follow up after that.
As BBOy400 stated, it is a very good school. Lots of NY/Nj/CT students.
It is a State U that feels private, because it has an endowment that is the envy of many private colleges. Lots of resources, and unlike many public universities, they are not as subject to the whims of state budget cuts.
Chem and Chem engineering is tops thanks to great ties to DuPont. I have had kids there for music, for sciences, and business. All love it, parents love it.
Pretty good with merit scholarships for top students.
Surrounding area is not so hot but the campus is beautiful. All my students who went to Del have had fabulous experiences there.
One last comment. I have heard about crime issues in the off campus housing in the past few years, one a home invasion. Just beware- that happens anywhere but I think kids feel too safe sometimes, and let their guard down.
