Anyone out there effected by the UDM discontinuing thier men's baseball program?

Stick...They saw that "Stuff" and Schultz and Juergens were attending UIC next year and they dropped the sport...figuring they can't compete!

LOL!!! FYI- Jurgens will not be attending UIC.Saw incoming freshman catcher Brett Schaefer (Brother Rice/Orland Park) play last week at Triton (good body-good tools, needs a little more contol with the throws...)Also signed JUCO catcher Ben Trotter (will room with Stuff and Schultz)from Coal City. McDermott reports 17 new baseball players. I'm sure a few freshman redshirts and some great competition for starting spots!
