University of Missouri-Rolla, Ashford University

If anyone has any information about any of these two schools it would be greatly appreciated. I know Rolla is a decent baseball, great engineering school in the GLVC, big time D-II conference. Any information on Ashford too, would be great. I know they are a very small private NAIA school in Iowa just over the border of Illinois. However, no roster is posted and there is no real information on the team. If anyone's got any insider info, that'd be great.

Yeah Missouri Rolla plays in the GLVC (D2) which is all wood bats. I saw them play last year against my college and they did not look good at all, if you look at the past couple years they always finish in the bottom of their conference every year! I heard its a great school academics wise. Overall I would not look at this school baseball wise!

I would reiterate the previous statement. The academic aspect of UMR is outstanding. It's known throughout Missouri for having an outstanding engineering program. Baseball wise, they are not stellar by any means. They try and compete in the GLVC, but the other schools have too much talent. But I think that if your getting a substantial amount of money to play a game and go to a school, it's an easy choice.
