The Toledo Rockets appear to be headed in a very positive direction. They hired one of the Big Ten's top assistants last season as their head coach. Although the team performed only mediocre, the new coach, Cory Mee will get things going. Toledo plays in the very competive MAC (Mid American Conference) and according to their website placed half their roster on summer collegiate teams. (For those who bash me when I make comments about exposure at the DIII level, how many DIII teams have half their roster in the summer collegiate leagues? And Toledo finished near the bottom in their conference). I look for Toledo to be very competitive in the near future. Coach Mee knows how to recruit; he's young and aggressive and knows the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana area.
