rcmax29,
Of course there is no way of knowing but that tidbit of information does sound promising. I would ask the player his opinion of the visit. Sometimes we are pleasantly surprised as to our son’s accuracy in sizing up these meetings. I might add that coaches always show their best side during the recruitment phase. During the fall of my son’s freshman year of college, and everyone got down to the task of baseball, he called home and said: “The head coach sure has changed a lot since he recruited me.” Big Grin

The head coach at the school my son eventually chose made a visit to our house a few months ago. He warned my son, over a very pleasant dinner, that he was an old-school coach. Players come to his program and hate his guts their freshman year, but they end up best friends by their senior year. That is if they buy into the "break them down so you can build them back up" style of coaching. We've been having many discussions about this, trying to prepare for that tumultous freshman year.
